                                              It is quite an ironical truth,that all us are generally hurt by some one known to us, because our expectations are not met or when our faith and trust is broken.In that situation we go through a great amount of unbearable pain.


                                                When you feel let down by your loved ones, always look at your self and the whole world in terms of  our purpose of existence.Every body here is supposed to lead life with integrity in line with the universal eternal truths, consciously or unconsciously.
                                                 We are into some situation or the other, but what ever thought comes to our mind ,we should carefully examine it and see if it is positive or negative,if it is a negative thought we must notice it and tell ourselves that this is a negative thought and we must not get into its grip.This very thought process will separate us from the negative thought and we will be able to view the functioning of our mind as a separate entity.It is like a mature person who knows if he needs to abstain from following the advise of another person, if he considers it not worth.
                                                 If we can train ourselves to do this then we start treating our own mind as an outsider always instructing us to feel in a particular way and it is up to us to properly analyse the mind , by weighing the pros and cons of the thoughts being highlighted with the use of our intellect and wisdom .This will help us in knowing if the mind is leading us in the right direction.and the moment we realize that the directive of the mind is not correct that is the time we automatically come out of the grip of the negativity being created by the mind.
                                                 It is like switching TV channels, when we do not like a particular channel we simply use the remote control to tune out that channel and tune in to a channel which we would like to watch.Similarly if our mind is popping up any thought or feeling which is making us feel miserable or unhappy , we can simply switch over to some thing which would make us feel happy,in this case the major difference is we do not have a physical remote control, therefore we need to learn this art by constantly uplifting ourselves. We can uplift ourselves by living life in accordance with the universal eternal truths.This can be done in four simple steps

Step One
Know the universal eternal truths

Step Two
Practice to live by these universal eternal truths

Step Three
Continuously monitor yourself to ensure that you internalize these universal eternal truths in the form of habits and practically start living in accordance with them. 

Step Four
Teach others to experience the power of correct living to achieve happiness and bliss

It is a known fact that when we teach others , we learn the best, therefore if you learn something good and you wish to retain and internalize it, the best way is to teach others, who would benefit by learning from you.But before you could start teaching,which is the fourth step you need to be through with the first three steps.
