A lot of fads will come and go, but the basic ingredients of a confident and successful personality shall always remain the same. Truthfulness is one of the basic ingredients which can take your

 confidence to the next level. You will generally feel to be highly confident when you consistently follow the divine virtue of truthfulness.

When you live up to this divine virtue, you eliminate problems at these three levels

1.No Cover-up Required

The first level is your individual persona which doesn't get mired by the doubts hovering over your mind as you do not have to cover up for the compromise on this divine virtue, there will be no pressure created which could have derailed you as you don’t have to consciously cover up for this lapse, this prevents a lot of gaps in your original behavior pattern thereby improving your effectiveness to think logically and clearly in the present moment. This also helps you to start focusing on factors within your control, and without even knowing about it you start falling in line with the universal intelligence by following its chosen pathways, these path ways are very strong as these are based on the universal eternal truths and have the power to help you accomplish big goals thereby taking your confidence to the next level.  You are prevented from acting under the modes of passion and/or ignorance, there by preserving your innate drive to take appropriate action, as appropriately conditioned by the nature. Contrary to the people who compromise on the divine virtue of truthfulness you would not try to consciously manipulate the impulses of nature and that too with poor efficiency and unexpected consequences, as the natural intelligence comes up with even stronger pathways which are totally out of your control. Thus you move into the realm of a world which gels with your understanding, thereby improving your confidence level.

2.People Start Believing Your Personal Integrity

The second level is at the level of your relationships both at the intimate, personal & professional levels as well as the socially dispersed levels. The people known to you in various capacities, as and when they come across instances where you have followed this divine virtue of truthfulness, they start believing your personal integrity with the confidential information that they may be planning to share with you in the course of your relationship. This is more supportive when there are multiple recurrences and/or multiple social reference points where this can be vouched for its validity. This scenario favorably impacts the perception of these people regarding you and finally they start drifting closer to you, as their sense of comfort and trust keeps improving, finally reaching a point where your trust worthiness increases to a very high plane, this is the level at which most of your relationships are in a good shape and these can eventually become great in the coming times.

When you follow the divine virtue of truthfulness, you become the first witness of your action but remember that you are not the only witness, as your actions get imprinted on the moment which is a witness of your good deed and all the living as well as non living entities too gather this impression that you are complying with the universal eternal truths, but in the heart of your hearts you know that you have followed the divine virtue of truthfulness ,this fact is also known to the universal intelligence and it works hard to ensure that you get to enjoy the pleasant consequences of your actions thereby further improving your confidence.

You realize the importance of a calm posture better, when you experience a situation marked by its absence in your persona. When you are devoid of this grace, you tend to lose sight of your goals, purpose, values, and priorities in your life. The absence of this divine virtue drags you into


  unnecessary exchanges with others and you generally end up in the middle of great unanticipated problems by distorting your logical frame of reference through a biased paradigm shift at your subconscious level, without your realizing that all this is actually happening with you. In other words the modes of ignorance and/or passion cast their spell on you, as soon as you step out of the realms of this or any other divine virtue, and you get carried away by the illusion called Maya. The presence of this divine virtue plays a very critical role in keeping you on the right track thereby creating an environment conducive to the manifestation of all other divine virtues   responsible for your holistic growth towards realizing the potential of being at your best.

Compromising on Divine Virtues Trigger a Cascade of Further Compromises

Consider a situation where you experience anxiety or fear, this is the time when you lose your calm , now whatever decisions you take will not be based on the solid background of eternal universal truths but will be guided by the motive of overcoming the anxiety or fear prevailing at that point in time. The similar understanding can be developed for the other divine virtues as well. It is worth noting that any compromise on even one divine virtue can push you into a cascade of events resulting in situations where further compromises on other divine virtues are triggered without much effort on your part.

Consider a situation where you had some argument with your spouse or friend before you moved out in your car, if you get affected by this and carry the disturbing negativity of the resultant frustration and anger with you, there is a very high possibility that even the slightest provocation by any person, event or situation will make you reactby exhibiting the same behavior of frustration and anger. This is the major reason why most of the crimes happen in our society. When we compromise on the divine virtues we unconsciously let the ignorance and/or passion take control of our beings and we begin to slide on the downward spiral of anger, lust, greed, frustration, jealousy, fear hatred, enmity, etc.  On the contrary when we block the access of ignorance and passion, by following divine virtues in totality by forming the habit of living by these divine virtues, we not only maintain our calm but also pave way to a more significant, vibrant, fulfilling & happy life.

 yourself to a level where you become worthy of achieving the possession of material objects you desire and not by feeling jealous of other people. When you feel jealous of others, you block your own progress by creating these three problems, for yourself, with far reaching consequences

     You unknowingly construct your own reality of scarcity with the underlying assumption, contrary to the reality, that if others have got the possession of the material possessions desired by them then there is not much left for you in the universal kitty

     3rd Problem; You Lose Sight and Focus, of the Opportunity to Improve Yourself   
     You lose sight and focus, of the opportunity to improve yourself by failing to evaluate the deficiency of divine virtues in yourself  and ,of inculcating these virtues to realize your potential to achieve the rating of 10 on 10 , thereby becoming a worthy candidate for the universal intelligence or the supernatural force, God to give you the possession of the desired material objects

Have Faith, there is No Limit to What You Can Get With Abundance Mentality 

Once you get connected to the universal intelligence there is no limit to what you can get with the abundance mentality.It is like tuning into the frequency of your favorite Television Channel and there is no limit to the programs that you can watch, off course subject to the continued tuning in that particular frequency and the continued connectivity or the focus in case of your abundance mentality, by tuning yourself into the universal intelligence , you create the reflection of your desired material possession in the universal intelligence and then that same material possession is handed over to you in reality by the universal intelligence. But only abundance mentality will not help , what you really need is the perfect blend of all the divine virtues including abundance mentality to score 10 on 10 to accomplish the ideal scenario by following the universal eternal truths.

Freedom, from Jealousy & from Craving for Pride - A Divine Virtue

Freedom is an innate virtue, your state of fulfillment or otherwise depends upon whether this natural endowment is used or misused by you respectively. You can progress in the direction of

a fulfilling life only when you have the freedom from jealousy as well as the freedom from the craving for pride.

All Struggle in this World is the Result of the Craving for Pride;

Most of us generally believe that we are the real owners of our various material possessions in this world and take great pride in thinking that we are the factual owners of these material possessions, where as the fact is that these material possessions are in the ownership of God. All the struggle of most people in this world is the result of the craving for the false pride of staking the claim for the material possessions around them.

Jealousy if Allowed to Dominate Eats into the Feeling of Fulfillment;

When a hot object is placed near ice, the ice starts losing its form and it finally gets converted into  liquid, similarly Jealousy is a negative feeling which if allowed to dominate our being, it gradually grows stronger thus eating into the positive feeling of fulfillment and ultimately eradicating fulfillment completely from our lives. example, – when you get to know that another person has obtained the possession of some material object, which you also wish to have in your possession, then there are three different ways in which you can react to this event, the first and the most common way is to feel jealous of the other person, the second way could be, to be indifferent to such an event and the third way could be, to be feeling genuinely happy for the person that now possesses an object that would make him or her happy, this kind of disposition is the mark of an abundance mentality, which states that there is enough for everyone deserving and there is no shortage of any type, meaning it is not a zero sum game , where the gain of one person is necessarily the loss of another person.

To be able to experience fulfillment, the third way, marked with abundance mentality, when followed naturally by you, will be an indication that you are progressing on the right path to fulfillment. The fact of life is that each living being has to die some day or the other and we are no exceptions. Whatever deeds, divine or evil, a person does to acquire the possession of the material objects, has to face the consequences as a result of these deeds. After death there is no way the possession of these material objects can be retained by that particular person. Therefore there is no point in feeling jealous or craving for the false pride of possessing these material objects.

 

This Craving for False Pride is fueled by Passion and Ignorance;

Your reaction to any situation is governed by the dominating mode of your being, which may be exhibited by your acting under the spell of either ignorance, passion or goodness.

Ignorance; Under the spell of ignorance you tend to neglect the universal eternal truths and their impact, you are just motivated by the present ,you are so deeply entrenched in the clutches of the present moment that all your thinking capabilities are short circuited to support the act you wish to pursue in the present moment. You tend to get swayed by the emotions prevailing at that point in time, there by blocking out your access to the complete reasoning and thinking process, which could have guided you in terms of the effect of the action that will be produced as consequences of your action, such a situation can be averted by developing emotional intelligence.

Passion; When over powered by your passion you deliberately focus on acquiring objects you passionately wish to own and are willing to forego all other things , by acting in such a way you knowingly compromise on the universal eternal truths and expose yourself to the long term sufferings to be produced as a result of your actions. The difference that action taken under passion has with that taken under ignorance is that while under passion you tend to ignore the universal eternal truths through your reasoning whereas under ignorance you lose your discerning capability and all your reasoning, logic and thinking powers are completely blocked. So your actions under the spell of passion are still a matter of choice whereas those under the spell of ignorance are totally disconnected from your thinking reality in terms of the consequences arising out of your actions. 

 Acting in Goodness Gives Freedom from Jealousy as well as Craving for False Pride; 

Goodness; While in goodness you are equally concerned about the people around you and your behavior at all times is guided by the intent of not offending others through your actions, thus you see that the complete norms of etiquette flowing from this thought in different cultures and civilizations, where others, their respect and comfort are placed before the objective of self aggrandizement

Freedom if misused can take you away from the things you want to achieve, by leading you into the wrong direction, whereas its correct use can propel you to great heights and you can program yourself to achieve the things you desire in life

Knowing that you are, were or will only be a caretaker of the material possessions in your control, and the only owner is God, your craving for the false pride of owning the material objects will sublimate paving way to the attitude of leading a righteous life by following the universal eternal natural truths and imbibing the divine virtues in your life.
