Why Are You Not Getting The Results That You Want?

The biggest challenges around you are a result of the yawning gap between your results and your expectations. Why people fail to achieve what they had initially set out to accomplish? There may be a variety of reasons but the solution lies in these three simple steps

Increase the Probability of Identifying Your Purpose In Life By Clarifying Your Values

Identify Your Values

When you know your true constitution and what is really important to you in life, then the decisions to set your goals get simplified. The accuracy to which you define your values , would also increase the probability of you identifying your purpose in life thereby ensuring that you lead a very happy and fulfilled life

Know What Is Important To You and  Set Out To Accomplish It

Align Your Goals With Your Values

When you have the awareness of what is important to you , it is quite natural that you would logically set out to accomplish it. Therefore before you set your goals it is absolutely critical to identify your values and ensure that there is alignment between the two. Because if there is mismatch between your values and goals then any effort to accomplish will be an exercise in futility

Take Charge Of Your Life , Start Living Your Values To Achieve Your Goals

Align Your Behavior With Your Goals and Values

The importance of aligning your behavior to your goals and values, cannot be over emphasized, in a sincere attempt towards being successful. Because if you have not clearly identified your values any amount of scientific goal setting would be of no recourse just like a ship with out sailboard cannot be propelled into the ocean. And even if the sailboard is functional on the ship but the sailor doesn't know the desired destination then the sailor would not know the correct direction to the destination and would eventually fail to adjust the sail against the wind leading to undesired results.

Take charge of your life, identify your values, validate you goals with your values and start with the habit of living your values to achieve your goals.

Calm Posture – A Divine Virtue

This Divine Virtue Leads to Manifesting Other Divine Virtues

You realize the importance of a calm posture better, when you experience a situation marked by its absence in your persona. When you are devoid of this grace, you tend to lose sight of your goals, purpose, values, and priorities in your life. The absence of this divine virtue drags you into

unnecessary exchanges with others and you generally end up in the middle of great unanticipated problems by distorting your logical frame of reference through a biased paradigm shift at your subconscious level, without your realizing that all this is actually happening with you. In other words the modes of ignorance and/or passion cast their spell on you, as soon as you step out of the realms of this or any other divine virtue, and you get carried away by the illusion called Maya. The presence of this divine virtue plays a very critical role in keeping you on the right track thereby creating an environment conducive to the manifestation of all other divine virtues   responsible for your holistic growth towards realizing the potential of being at your best.

Compromising on Divine Virtues Trigger a Cascade of Further Compromises

Consider a situation where you experience anxiety or fear, this is the time when you lose your calm , now whatever decisions you take will not be based on the solid background of eternal universal truths but will be guided by the motive of overcoming the anxiety or fear prevailing at that point in time. The similar understanding can be developed for the other divine virtues as well. It is worth noting that any compromise on even one divine virtue can push you into a cascade of events resulting in situations where further compromises on other divine virtues are triggered without much effort on your part.

Why Crimes Happen In Our Society?

Consider a situation where you had some argument with your spouse or friend before you moved out in your car, if you get affected by this and carry the disturbing negativity of the resultant frustration and anger with you, there is a very high possibility that even the slightest provocation by any person, event or situation will make you reactby exhibiting the same behavior of frustration and anger. This is the major reason why most of the crimes happen in our society. When we compromise on the divine virtues we unconsciously let the ignorance and/or passion take control of our beings and we begin to slide on the downward spiral of anger, lust, greed, frustration, jealousy, fear hatred, enmity, etc.  On the contrary when we block the access of ignorance and passion, by following divine virtues in totality by forming the habit of living by these divine virtues, we not only maintain our calm but also pave way to a more significant, vibrant, fulfilling & happy life.

God Bless

Goal Setting for Achieving Happiness & Fulfillment

The Perpetual Complaint; Every now and then we come across people, who complain about not being able to achieve their goals. And if we are able to achieve our goal then very often it is at a very big cost to us, which we realize only once a lot of water has flown under the bridge.  Sometimes we ourselves have the same complaint. But the people, including us, who have this perpetual complaint, must understand the complete truth behind the mechanism of goal setting and goal achievement.

Two Interrelated Concepts Regarding Goals; while setting our goals we need to understand that a goal is something worthwhile we want to achieve and to achieve a goal we must engage in action that would make us achieve it.  We can see clearly that there are two interrelated concepts , the first concept relates to taking  a decision regarding something worthwhile, called a goal, which we want to achieve and the second concept relates to the action we take for achieving that goal

Preempting Great Possibility of Falling Prey to the Wish-List; Another important aspect to be understood here is whether we need to choose any arbitrary goal first and then qualify it to meet the criteria of being something worthwhile we want to achieve or we first deliberate over worthwhile things we want to achieve and then we choose the most appropriate one as our goal. Let's understand that the former style of goal setting needs us to have very strong intuition for us to choose the right goal and there is a big possibility of us taking an incorrect decision by mistaking influence of fad or deep rooted craving for our long suppressed passions & unfulfilled wishes for a goal. Thus, there is a greatpossibility of falling prey to the wish-list, which may contain both desirable & undesirable wishes, and we may end up with an undesirable wish as our goal. Therefore it is strongly recommended that we choose our goal through the latter style.
Now having understood the difference between a goal and a wish, before we get started with the process of setting our goal, we need to answer these three questions
1.     Is the goal that I am choosing, a desirable goal?
2.     Can I accurately ascertain the price I need to pay for achieving this goal?
3.     Do I really want to, pay the ascertained price and, achieve this goal?

Keys to Happiness & Fulfillment- Closer Look at these Questions; Is the goal that I am choosing, a desirable goal?
Please note the characteristics of a desirable goal
·        Its fulfillment would be beneficial to all
·        It would not cause any pain to any one
·        It is in conformity to universal eternal truths
Can I accurately ascertain the price to be paid for its achievement?
The price includes
·        The sustained effort & unflinching sincerity
·        Opportunity cost for achieving it
·        Correct living in conformity with the universal eternal truths
Do I really want to, pay the ascertained price and, achieve this goal?
this analysis relates to
·        The price justification
·        The value attached to the accomplishment of the goal
·    The values , talents , purpose ,mental makeup & personality attributes, which vary with different people

If the answer to all the three questions is yes, then we have chosen a goal, which  would unleash happiness & bliss for everyone, directly or indirectly, involved in its accomplishment.

God Bless
