Time To Reflect :-
Today we celebrate79th Indian Independence day as the world's largest democracy. Lets look back and review what we have achieved as independent Bharat and the challenges that lie ahead of us. We have come a long way as a nation. Looking back in time it is important to note
Major Challenges That Lie Ahead
At this stage the major challenges that lie ahead are working towards awakening the national patriotic conscience at scale, imbibing respect for the rights of fellow citizens and zero tolerance for narratives that tend to jeopardize national integrity, security, sovereignty and unity . This would mean that there needs to be a systemic approach towards developing discerning capabilities of citizens to be able to sense the motives behind their own actions as well as the actions of leaders and influencers before getting swayed to extreme positions that are not conducive to nation's wellbeing. This would mean a true democratic representation of people's voice in public offices , where the public is trained to take informed decision on what is good for the nation.
Factors Having Potential To Turn The Wheel
Such a systemic approach would be possible only when the rouge elements are dealt with firmly and decisively. Need of the hour is to have very strict law enforcement system and those attempting to directly or indirectly sabotage interests of the nation must be dealt with relentlessly. All this will call for strong political will. The political will can be implemented effectively only when the citizens in responsible positions practice impeccable integrity. All this in-fact leads to an interdependent cyclical chain of factors having the potential to turn the wheel of justice, equality, economic prosperity , development and growth for accomplishing the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047.
