Knowing Your True Self

Most of Us Always Take It  For Granted;
This is the concept most of us , always take for granted. If you were to ask someone this question,"Do you know yourself ?", whatever may be that person's response but only the person who is answering this question knows the truth in the answer.Moreover this question would loose its essence if it were to be asked

 from others, the greatest value in answering this question lies when you are asking yourself,for example, it does not make a difference to you if you get to know the amount of money in the bank account of other people, yes what could be of interest to you is the amount that you have in your own bank account.This simile may be stretched a bit further for us to know that there are a great number of benefits when we have detailed information about our own bank account, the same logic applies in terms of the significance of knowing about what lies inside us.
And please do not be surprised to know that as all of us have similar physical anatomy similarly we have a great deal of similarly in the internal matter contained by us ,these include our objectives, expectations and goals in life,our knowledge and the degree of its perfection,what values do we have? and are we aware of them ?,etc
All of Us Are Internally The Same;
When we talk of knowing ourselves , this is a tricky question and this can be answered by the specific individual self and that is it.There may be people who are not too curious to get an answer to this question , but on the other hand there are people who are genuinely anxious to resolve this mystery.Out of the people who go in search of this answer, each one of them has a unique path through which they traverse before they are able to get a satisfactory answer to this question.and at the end of it all the learning is that all of us are internally the same and there is the potential of divinity and devil in all of us.It just depends on us which route do we take.
Reflection of Divinity or Devil Developing Inside Us;
All of us have certain expectations, goals, desires and objectives in life , let us elaborate it a bit further, for example, all of us feeling thirsty at any point in time would like to drink water, this is a basic need, now let us look at the same situation in a different context,for example, if we are in a desert and water is scarce and only limited quantity for each person present there then our behavior would not be the same as in a situation where you could pay money and get as much water as you want.Yet in another situation we do not have enough money to buy even the minimum quantity of water  in a particular point in time,in all of these situations we need to behave in the right way, this is a reflection of divinity or devil developing inside us .we must understand that what is driving our response to the same need in a variety of situations.Please note that this is a simple example where we are just talking about our basic need of quenching the thirst and has nothing to do with the myriad of  expectations, goals, desires and objectives in life.
In this context of the same example if we follow the right etiquette then only we can be said to be moving in the correct direction to be ever able to know ourselves and still it is a long way to go when we come to the objectives we set for ourselves against the fierce competition and a great deal of both the positive as well as negative influences vying for our attention and acceptance, in the face of all these challenges still if we can have the capability to persist, in all fairness, with our goals without loosing compassion for those competing with us and without feeling jealous of those who do better than us in any pursuit, then we can feel that we have started to know ourselves.

God Bless

Perspective On Factors Impacting Life

What the next moment is going to bring? As we discuss this perspective on factors impacting life it is important to understand the teachings of Lord Krishna as taught in Bhagwad Gita, about life and the associated knowledge about life. According to these teachings we humans can perform our karma or action but results are not in our absolute control. As I look back the realization dawns on me that most results in life are impacted by multiple factors including our response to these events and circumstances. And that is the reason why things at times happen in unpredictable ways that is beyond our control despite best efforts. The life remains unpredictable because future events can never be predicted with certainty and so is our response. That is why any attempt to predict future with absolute precision involves an element of probability making it a complex affair to foretell, what the next moment is going to bring?. The only control seems to be our response ,the manner we chose to hand...

You are moving up or down?  Sometimes it is ok to build focus on what you bring to the table rather than jumping thoughtlessly in and out of activities. The essence of life is realized only by being true to yourself. In the end what matters is the fairness with which you played. Winning or loosing is the perspective of the onlookers.
